Building upon the award-winning twist on tower defense gameplay and mystery of classic Kingdom, New Lands introduces an abundance of new content to the IGF-nominated title while maintaining the simplicity and depth that legions of monarchs have come to cherish.
Travel to the New Lands and welcome the deluge of new mounts, merchants, and vagrants that call these isles home, but be wary of the new obstacles that threaten your arrival - for not just the greedy creatures block your way, but even the environment itself can defeat you.
Be brave, ruler, and fight to the bitter end, lest these New Lands conquer you instead.

It's a mess that has some great concepts that don't quite work. You see players who have played for many months and can't even figure out the basics as the game doesn't reveal much. And the difficulty level is waaaaay too hard. Why is it this hard to get coins? You spend 5 min just to get coins and then need to spend them all on your walls. It's a shame as it makes creative play impossible as you can't experiment with anything when margins are this tight. The concept is great yet unfinished.

I play it on PS4 so buying it was a no-brainer. Feels weird playing on my phone, but the controls aren't complicated at all. Simple swipe and tap. 💕 I love the graphics, the sound effects, and I love the music. This is the best strategy game I've ever experienced. It's calming, yet so intense. And ofc, I've come to drop one tip: If you wanna beat island #4, make sure to arrive with 3 platoons. 😌 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is an incredibly well built and stable game. The controls and premise are deceptively simple: expand your kingdom, and survive the nightly hordes. You recruit villagers, assign roles, build structures and manage your gold with fluid controls. The art & music is amazing. It has a great "feel" and works beautifully on mobile. My only criticism would be to offer some tips for new players, and to allow customisation of appearance/heraldry (it's currently mostly random)
