Touch controls work fine. I have no problems with the game. Some animations do run fast or slow but nothing game breaking. The battles are long and the only way to save is outside of battles. I am able to hit home button, back key, power button, and reopen game back up with no problem and the game is in the same place when I left it. I not sure what everyone is talking about losing their place in battle when hitting a button and the game going to title screen. I haven't come across that issue.

This is truly one the best remasters of one of the best games of all time. Essentially, this version is based on the iOS version, which is based on the PSP version, which is based on the original PSX version. Having played all of them and having devoted a lot of time to Ivalice over the years, I can say this is the best version. It's offline, no ads, no additional purchases, the controls are amazing and touch-screen friendly (with the ability to rotate the map freely)... Everything is perfect.

really terrible controls, for the price I was hoping for something similar to the gameboy FFT I played back in the day but it's a pretty big disappointment. It's fun, don't get me wrong, but the price point is way way off. if you don't save often you can lose tons of progress, too, since it doesn't go back to the last combat but instead the main menu where you reload your save.
