Decent resource if you have some basic knowledge (especially of the script). The lessons are just people telling you how to say things and you have to repeat it, but sometimes the pronunciation is very bad (the R's are not rolled at all and rasaha sounds like zhasaha, for instance), and since you are not taught the rules for things like conjugation, it is just repeating random sentences. And in the very first lesson, they taught a couple of words, and one sentence, and the sentence did not actually use the words taught in the lesson, but instead different forms or variations of those words. It will not be easy or useful for anyone to learn a language using this app if they are starting from scratch.

Please note that Sanskrit is a dead language with no standard pronunciation, as all religious people speak it in their own style. It is slightly differently pronounced by Tamil Speakers as well as North Indian speakers. We hired eminent professors to both translate and voice. The conjugations are taught using an implicit method (via example).

You have to pay for everything. If you have to pay, it's not a good app but a scam. Also, Sanskrit is not a dead language. It is simply not the first language and is still taught in schools and universities. We know the pronouncetion of each character, and we know the grammar. Many widely read texts are written and studied in Sanskrit.

Fortunately there is much free content in this app. The entire Core Vocabulary level, for example, containing 2,000 of the most common words in Sanskrit, is completely free of charge. There are also three free daily lessons each and every day. All of this, taught in any of 144 home languages. Happy learning!

This app is totally awesome. Just today I have installed this app. This is very good app for those who all want to learn Sanskrit. This helps alot. My only request is to keep the tough exams on languages. That can help the beginners to get to advance level of learning languages!!!
