I use this app for EMS and Fire dispatch. it works most of the time, and then goes down for days or weeks. You also don't have a choice in hearing activity on this app. You can either hear things live, or get an audible notification that there is radio traffic. You cannot mute notifications when set to busy, and the busy notification recently went from a subtle quiet chirp to a loud, prolonged ring. I even set notification volume to 0, and still get pinged to death.

Need to fix unexpected Application exits. Happens way too often - unable to contact Wife and Son because their Zello application exited and must be manually restarted (neither are stopping it or purposely exiting). Please Fix abnormal exits - or develop 'watcher daemon' to periodically restart missing application processes. Otherwise app is great (if it just stayed running).

I recently started using Zello and see its value, but it’s not very user-friendly. First, it often switches from Available to Busy on its own, ruining real-time walkie-talkie use. Second, it’s hard for elderly or non-technical people to learn. Also, when pressing the talk button, it isn’t clear you’re recording—only small seconds show. The button should turn green when active and red when stopped for clear feedback.
