Great app for finding lyrics & learning the meanings behind them. I do have a small issue with the Suggest Genius Lyrics feature. For example, Taylor Swift has rerecorded some of her albums, & these are labeled as Taylor's Version. When I play a song like Style (Taylor's Version), the app suggests lyrics from the older, original version instead. It seems like the app doesn’t fully recognize songs with parentheses in the title. I hope this gets improved because the rest of the app is excellent.

Thanks for your review! We did it like this because on platforms like YouTube, songs frequently have suffixes like "(Official Music Video)", which causes issues when trying to match with a Genius song page. To prevent this, we try to strip out anything in parenthesis. It's a trade-off, but in most cases it makes the end result more accurate.

This app is crashing and glitching all the time. The waiting time to load the lyrics page is ridiculous - the song often ends before the lyrics even load. Another inconvenience is the contributor's functionality in the app - there is none. You can see notifications, but can't edit lyrics, add songs, propose edits or annotations - nothing if the sort. It's easier and faster to just Google the lyrics to be honest

I really like the concept of the platform, however, the app does not work well. I have issues with it crashing frequently. It also almost never actually shows the lyrics for whatever I'm currently listening to. And that is like the only thing that drew me to the app over the browser site in the first place. plus you have to go to the browser site for a lot of edits anyways.
